Good evening, I thought you might enjoy a small post right before dinner…maybe give you second thoughts about doing McDonalds tonight…
Here I am again, folks.
Warning; I am going to push you until you hate me…then you’ll love me. It is that simple. This is my job, you can always unsubscribe if you want and get on with your day. But you won’t, you want to hear it!
My job is fitness, and getting and keeping people in shape. Makin’ BEEEEEEASTS…simple, not easy. Whatever your choice of job is, I am sure it’s the same thing. Simple expected outcome, not easy at all. So…? Set goals. Reach goals. Kill goals. “Mike, I do have goals…” ok- what are they? Probably, something like…just hang in there…or get better at this or that….or just wait for something to happen for the good. HA! Those are pretty weak.
Get specific. For example, here is a couple I am working on for people now. Drop below 200lbs. Expose 4 ab muscles. Lose 35lbs. Have ripped legs and very noticeable core. Here is a tip, if you’re 5-10 and weight 230lbs…but not a FREAK ALREADY…you are not showing a 6 pack anytime soon. It ain’t easy, so don’t beat yourself before you start.
I have no clue what you do for a living, and most of the time I don’t care. For right now, I do…so set yourself some goals in regards to your current status as well. Make or break a habit…most people say it takes 21 days. It’s no fluke that is exactly how low this is set to last. USE IT. Make new habits, break old shitty ones. If you haven’t realized that HABITS MAKE YOU by now…well, you’re in for a world of surprise soon.
Everything you do, everything you have done…has made you who you are today. Yeah, I know…I hate to accept that fact sometimes, too..that’s life.
If you’re not satisfied, make a change, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT….step up.
Write it down, and track it…heck, ill make it easier and help you track it…and you can write it here if you want.
STEP UP. I’ll get it started.
Name: Mike McNeil
Goal: “99″ Nine new clients and 9% body fat.
Current Stats: 178lbs, 13% body fat. And i got a few leads for the clients…not many though.
Yeah, i think it’s nuts too….who gives a shit..if I even come close im killin’ it! But ya know, i’m seriously thinkin’ this is doable… I already eat pretty clean and train like a maniac, but we can always push more…always.
Goals are NOT meant to be easy. If they were, the other 97% of the world would have them too.
I’m a 3%er, there are mine…STEP UP…what’s yours?
BEEEEEEEEAST is here to help you make or break some habits.
-Mike
