3 Days to Go…and Enough is Enough…

For the last 8 weeks or so, I haven’t been the ’smartest’ when it comes to training myself. I just wanted more, and more, and more…until it got me. It got me good.

I mean, yeah, I’m good at making videos…but you didn’t think they were fake did ya? HA! The Grand, Call The Cops, Jumped @ The Homeless Park, Mile Move, The Perfect Storm, Doin’ Time, Twisted Murph, Mental Ward, 250 Burpees @ 24, 100 Tire Flips…in multiple places. That’s just to list a few I actually made a name for. Well, folks…ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

I got ripped, I got my goal. I got clients, I learned even more. But, I now realize, the “nagging injuries” are a bit worse…and happening much faster, with much lighter weight now. My elbow is making a weird noise I have never heard before…uh-oh… It is called, OVER-TRAINING.

For example, I did floor presses and about a million push-ups…then the next day did the The Mental Ward, which was all vests…and chains..and used a ton of the upper-body…then I went and played football for 2 hours. My whole arms were shot for days. Just being awake hurt. I could barely type anything.

I’ve always had issues with my shoulder and knee, but kept it under control. Yeah…I kinda crossed the line I guess you could say.

I did not get enough rest, water, or stretching…there, i’ll admit it. Do as I say, not as I do…

Don’t worry, ill still be killin it…I just cant make it epic every single day like I have been lately. And yeah, all the rest will give me plenty of time to perfect…or at least pursue perfection, in other areas. Including, but not limited to….making sure you know these workouts…by seeing them AGAIN…and by DOING them.

Yes, this will do me good.

Just for starters, my lack of sticking to the plan is what allowed this to happen. I just felt beastly and did what I wanted, not what I should have done. That is what you call discipline; doing the things you have to…even when you don’t want to.

I have that written in red ink, above my computer here. I guess I will start reading it more often..and actually follow it. I also have a coffee cup that says no whining…yeah…I suppose I will look into that as well. Next to that is my morning to do list; “1. Thanks to God. 2. Stretch & Water 3. Go to Work.” All I have been doing is #3. I will get back on track. Wow…I haven’t noticed all these things that we’re so important in a long time. It’s time for change, goooood change.

NO…I am not talking about being ‘Mr. Nice Pro Kiss Ass’ change, I mean…being smart and focused, change. Good times are-a comin!

If you have, you’d probably have realized by now that 1. I’m probably a couple weights short of a full set…and 2. This is far more than a job, a career, a business…this is what I love, and who I am.

If I cannot do this, and do it how I want…I won’t be happy. To preserve longevity, I am going to be smarter now.

That being said, there is still THREE DAYS left of FreakFeast09. I intend on continuing my pursuit of shredmod-ola… For safety reasons, my killllits will have to be somewhat tamed. I will probably be at 24 the next three days…I will do what I can.

Truth be told; getting 9 new clients in October was much more important.

I have 7…and 3 days to work on a handful of others. If I count extensions, I already reached it.

Keep spreading the word, folks…I greatly appreciate it. And ya know…I can tell there is something not good about my arm, but ill recover. It was fun…I could think back and the insanity probably lasted about 12 weeks, non-stop. I can’t say that I really regret any of it…even the over training certain areas..(like push press, and kb a week straight) HA!

I went to a bunch of different spots. It was kinda like ‘my own world’ HA!! Beach, parks, the ally, empty lots, behind Big 5, schools, different houses, hills, and yes…even 24. All this shit, I did on my own for the most part. And the famous camera, i love me some videos. I seriously fucked my CNS up so many times, and loved every minute. Don’t get me wrong, im not saying I wont anymore…I just cant do ‘whatever I want’ anymore. I think The Perfect Storm was a good way to end it. Now it’s just aftermath cleanup the last few days. That’s enough rambling for one day….

So…I know you’re listening to WIIFM radio. (Whats in it for me?) Everything! Without beating myself silly everyday, I will have tons of time to focus on new things and business progression. That means new, and better things for all of you….we’re making a cult here.

I am going to be on YOUR ass. Stay tuned…

PS: But seriously, holeeeeeee shiiiiiiit!!! We came out and flat out SLAYED IT…beyond kill it. Let’s go! Let’s use this foundation and build an EMPIRE.
