Well, since we got some new people on the board…a double post is in order for this morning.

FOOD FU**OS!

I am often asked, what is the best things to eat.  Once again, basically a never ending question.  But, lets assume you are in your first 90 days with me and your goal includes, losing body fat, building lean muscle, or strengthening your core….HA! those are EVERYONES goals…so yeah, I HAVE SEEN IT WORK.

I don’t have fancy scientific reasons, probably because I just don’t know any, but I know it works.

1. MEATS: Chicken, turkey, tuna.   Skinless chicken breast.  Real turkey, not ground with other crap…and tuna is best, but most any fish will do.

BONUS: Liver… Most people don’t like it, or just think its awful.  Liver and onions, yup! Beef and pork liver is a great lean protein source.

Caveman Eat: Greens & Chicken for RESULTS.

2. NON MEAT PROTEIN: Eggs, and more eggs.  Egg whites work as well.  Like I said, this is what I know works..but I eat meat, so I am not very experienced at it.  Soy beans are a good protein source but should be limited.  I personally do not like processed frozen foods, but I know the veggie pattys will get you by with the protein.  You can also look into LOW or NON FAT cheese for protein as well.

Vegetarian Protein

3. VEGGIES: Broccoli, bell peppers, asparagus, onions, and mushrooms.  Those are mine, but if you LIMIT carrots and CUT OUT potatoes, all vegetables are good.  I also like the stir Fry packs, and just cook them as a vegetable mix.  You don’t always have to ’stir fry’.

4. FRUIT: Apples, grapes, any type of berry. Keep it simple..

5. GRAINS & BREAD: The things we are trying to avoid….but need small amounts of.   Oatmeal, PLAIN. Ezekiel FLOURLESS bread.  Limit to 1 or 2 slices per day.

6.  FILL IN SNACKS: Carb Master Yogurt, NON Fat Cottage Cheese, Low Fat Lunch Meat Packs, Steamer bags of veggies made by Green Giant.  Low Fat Tuna Salad Packs, or Tomato Tuna premade for $1.

Cooking Tips: Use low carb soy sauce and lemon or lime.  CHILL OUT on the butter and oil.  Seriously….YES! A little bit hurts.  Calorie Math: 1 serv of oil per day is 14g of fat, multiplied by 7 days, is 98 grams.  98x 9 calories is what? I don’t know…but I know its damn close to 900.  Every 3,500 calories is one pound…so yeah, you can either add or subtract one pound every 4 days…mathematically by taking away ONE serving per day.

Vegetables and vegetarians, get creative.  COOK YOUR VEGGIES.  Use the BBQ again, or grill em.  Find a good sauce for dipping.  I can eat bell peppers plain all day…but they taste even better cooked with some soy sauce.

Of course it is easier if you can eat meat…BUT…I know a few non meatties that maybe I can get to guest post some suggestions soon…stay tuned.

OUT TO EAT: If you have to socially gather places where feeding is part of conversation…then yes, it will be harder.  We can still find a way.  For one, nobody NEEDS to go out to fast food or Cobblestone to socialize…so save that shit.

If you have to go out and think a salad is a good option, you are right. BUT…hold the fried flavored bread, limit the cheese, and for shit sakes people…you cannot tell me you had no idea the 2 servings of ranch was bad??? Really?? Well, just so you know now…its worse than BUTTER. Your salad turned into a creamy burger and fries in 3 seconds.  GET IT?

Find something they advertise as low calorie…they make sure to point it out if its not HORRIBLE FOR YOU…also, try to ask for less butter or oil when its cooked.  Don’t eat 19 bread sticks before your food arrives, and really…again??? you didn’t think all those appetizers were going to screw you up? C’mon folks, stop lying!

Find meat, find vegetables.  Avoid the bread, pastas and rice..and the SAUCE!  You think you are doing yourself a favor by eating a huge bowl of brown rice…or you skipped meat and are having fruit and noodles?? That there, is keeping you from your goals.

If YOU HAVE TO eat out…just don’t be stupid.

KILLLLLLLLIT clean!

PS: Feel free to drop questions below about food and or suggestions.

Just bring your lunch to work…in our society, lunch means fast…and fast and food is a horrible combo.

Follow my journey to fight the carb monster that plagues so many vegetarians and ‘healthy’ eaters out there.  So far, I have found some good items…but it had been my own lack of discipline that had thrown me off.

Most of these items were found at Vons.  13 days left.
